1919 Belgian Pale Ale
The beer that started it all.
The beer that started it all.
Our signature Belgian Pale Ale is smooth and full of flavour. Inspired by the bold movement of the Winnipeg General Strike of 1919, it's good by any standard.
1919 is made with Brewers Gold, an heirloom hop that gives it a unique flavour.
It’s truly a Canadian original, developed through open pollination of a wild Manitoba hop and unknown English hop in 1919.
"1919" is made using the traditional German kräusening, or double-fermentation technique, which cleans up beer flavours, naturally carbonates the beer, and gives it better head retention. “1919” is made with premium Canadian malts and specialty Franco-Belges malts to give it unique characteristics.
